If Buhari Contests 100 Times, He Cannot Rule This Country Again – Association Of Witches And Wizards In Nigeria

The Association of Witches and Wizards in Nigeria has warned former Head of State and leader of the Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, General Mohammadu Buhari to bury his ambition of ruling Nigeria ever again.
Dr. Okhue Iboi, the acclaimed spokesperson of the Association in an interview with Sunday Express asserted that witches and wizards in the region would not allow him to spearhead the affairs of the nation again.
He further stressed that Nigeria would not break-up after 2015 contrary to what Dr. Fasheun and the American government predicted.
According to him, "During the meeting we held on January 29 in Ilorin, we talked about the government of this country.
Goodluck Jonathan will re-contest and he will win the 2015 election irrespective of whatever opposition rises against him," the coven's spokesman affirmed.
On the menace of Boko Haram, Iboi said, "We gave the witches in the North the mandate to cool down Boko Haram; mark my words, by the end of this year, you will hardly hear of any Boko Haram mayhem again."
The extensive interview with the witchdoctor was not all glad tidings, however, his revelations raised serious concerns about the 2015 election.
"Some people are prepared to frustrate President Jonathan by all means and these people would resort to foul means. But in doing that, they will jeopardize Nigeria. I beg Nigeria to pray. Let us all pray, Christians, Muslims and herbalists," he said seriously.
Continuing he stated "there will be many disturbances during the primary and at the main election, a lot of bombs will be thrown around. But I can assure you," he said, "Nigeria will not break or divide as the Americans have prophesied." The witches' imagemaker further foretold the future of politics in the country.
He started with the proposed merger parties, APC and its chances of challenging the dominion of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. "This mega party when we looked at them and their future, they are good, they have good intentions, but at the last minute, before election, they will be thrown into disarray; they will have a big disagreement that will shatter the party and in-fighting over superiority.
This discord will not be settled until the elections hold." Similarly, he also divulged the council of witches' verdicts on some political personalities. In the case of General Muhammadu Buhari, one of the key opposition politicians against the PDP-led government and a crucial actor in any serious coalitions, Iboi unveiled a damning verdict.

"Till the day he will die, Obasanjo will still be important and relevant to the Nigerian politics.
That is his destiny," Iboi affirmed. Iboi who claimed to be in the fourth year of his seven-year tenure as the coven's spokesperson also spoke about the coming wrath of witches over Nigerian politicians. "Some of the politicians that are using other people's destiny, I mean those who steal other people's luck, between now and next year, God's wrath is coming upon them," he threatened. "And as for the current PDP National Chairman, he will have his hands full with many problems that will eventually swallow him."
He expressed hope that a better Nigeria lies ahead, he said, "In the meeting we had last year in Niger State, we gazed into the future of this country and we discovered that Nigeria will still be better." But before then, he opined that a cleansing will take place. "The bad elements disturbing this country will have to be removed and that will happen in no distant time; one by one, they shall all perish. Then, Nigeria will get better. And I tell you, the youths will enjoy this Nigeria, but that time is not in the immediate future," he concluded.

Madman Arrested With Double-Barrel Gun

Police operatives have arrested a man with a locally made double barrel gun and three toy guns at the Tolu area of Ajegunle, Lagos. The police are investigating to know what the man who residents described as mentally unbalanced was doing with guns.
The man simply identified as Monday was arrested in an abandoned school described by the police as hideout for armed robbers. While some residents believed that Monday is insane, others said he is an armourer to armed robbers.
A resident who identified himself simply as Adeolu told Hi5-show that the suspect is sane as he stayed close to a refuse dump near the school where he was collecting money from cart pushers who came to dump refuse. Adeolu said the suspect was only faking madness to avert prosecution. Another resident, Adegbenro claimed that he knew the man's family.
"His family lives at Tomoloju Street, Tolu, Ajegunle. His health issue started while he was in higher institution so, I know him very well, he is insane".
However, the police said they were investigating to know how the suspect got the guns and what he was doing with them. A police source told Crimewatch that as part of the investigation process, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Tolu Police Station, Mr. Godwin Eze has promised to take the suspect to a Psychiatric hospital to ascertain his mental state. The police source continued that after ascertaining the mental state of the suspect, the force would know which way to go.
"We want to know whether he is an armed robber, armourer or he is insane". When Crimewatch wanted to get the side of the suspect's story, he was incoherent with his speech. "I belong to a cult group called White Angels Corps of Arrest Force. Former Super Eagles goalkeeper and 1994 African Nations Cup gold medalist, Peter Rufai worked very hard to be in form and maintained good name.
He was in goal for Nigeria's senior national team for over a decade, and kept goal for European clubs such as K.S.C Lokeren, K.S.K Beveren (both of Belgium) and Deportivo de La Coruna of Spain.
However, one error of judgment on his part has caused the reputation he built over the years to stain, particularly in Belgium where he allegedly diverted the sum of 200,000 euro that was put in his hand by the Nigerian Community and ran to Nigeria last year.
Sources claim that the Belgian government has an arrangement in place for ethnic groups and that of nationals of other countries in Belgium whereby financial supports are given to them every quarter. A subvention, it takes several different forms. At times, it is 5000 euro in a quarter, and at other times it is well above it.
Organizations like the Egbe Omo Odua, Igbo Group, Nigerian Community, Sierra Leon Community, and Ghanaian Community among others get theirs and spend it with shrieks of delight. Most of the African communities also have football clubs that also benefit from the largess.
Impeccable sources told orijoreporter that last year the Nigerian Community Football Club, an outfit managed by the ex-international and in division four of the Belgian League, received 200,000 euro (about N44 million) from the Belgian authority to prosecute the club's programmes. Others like Ghana, Sierra Leon were also beneficiaries.
But while others used the money as specified that of Nigeria was diverted by the manager, Rufai who left with it to Nigeria since last year and has not returned.
It was said that before the incident Egbon as Rufai is called in Belgium by the Nigerian Community was living in Antwerp having been brought from Spain where he had a small school where goalkeepers were trained by a lady.

TEN (10) TIPS FOR BREAST CANCER PREVENTION
1. Avoid becoming overweight. Obesity raises the risk of breast cancer after menopause, the time of life when breast cancer most often occurs. Avoid gaining weight over time, and try to maintain a body-mass index under 25 (calculators can be found online).
2. Eat healthy to avoid tipping the scale. Embrace a diet high in vegetables and fruit and low in sugared drinks, refined carbohydrates and fatty foods. Eat lean protein such as fish or chicken breast and eat red meat in moderation, if at all. Eat whole grains. Choose vegetable oils over animal fats.
3. Keep physically active. Research suggests that increased physical activity, even when begun later in life, reduces overall breast-cancer risk by about 10 percent to 30 percent. All it takes is moderate exercise like a 30-minute walk five days a week to get this protective effect.
4. Drink little or no alcohol. Alcohol use is associated with an increased risk of breast cancer. Women should limit intake to no more than one drink per day, regardless of the type of alcohol.
5. Avoid hormone replacement therapy. Menopausal hormone therapy increases risk for breast cancer. If you must take hormones to manage menopausal symptoms, avoid those that contain progesterone and limit their use to less than three years. “Bioidentical hormones” and hormonal creams and gels are no safer than prescription hormones and should also be avoided.
6. Consider taking an estrogen-blocking drug. Women with a family history of breast cancer or who are over age 60 should talk to their doctor about the pros and cons of estrogen-blocking drugs such as tamoxifen and raloxifene.

4. Drink little or no alcohol. Alcohol use is associated with an increased risk of breast cancer. Women should limit intake to no more than one drink per day, regardless of the type of alcohol.
5. Avoid hormone replacement therapy. Menopausal hormone therapy increases risk for breast cancer. If you must take hormones to manage menopausal symptoms, avoid those that contain progesterone and limit their use to less than three years. “Bioidentical hormones” and hormonal creams and gels are no safer than prescription hormones and should also be avoided.
6. Consider taking an estrogen-blocking drug. Women with a family history of breast cancer or who are over age 60 should talk to their doctor about the pros and cons of estrogen-blocking drugs such as tamoxifen and raloxifene.
7. Consider taking the aromatase inhibitor exemestane. The results of a study released earlier this year showed that the drug exemestane reduced the risk of breast cancer by 65 percent in high-risk, postmenopausal women. Talk to your doctor about whether this may benefit you.
8. Don’t smoke. Research suggests that long-term smoking is associated with increased risk of breast cancer in some women.
9. Breast-feed your babies for as long as possible. Women who breast-feed their babies for at least a year in total have a reduced risk of developing breast cancer later.
10. Get fit and support breast cancer research at the same time. Regular physical activity is associated with a reduced risk of breast cancer.

3 Catholic Priests Suspended For Sexually Abusing Children

Three more priests were permanently removed from ministry by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia on Sunday, including one whose accuser killed himself after his allegation was dismissed by church officials.
The Revs. Joseph Gallagher and Mark Gaspar were suspended following a scathing 2011 grand jury report that ultimately led to the landmark conviction of a high-ranking archdiocese official on child endangerment charges. Two other priests and a Catholic school teacher were also convicted.
The February 2011 grand jury report prominently named Gallagher as a priest who remained in ministry despite apparently credible allegations of abuse. The grand jury said the archdiocese had found the allegation against him unsubstantiated despite the accuser's "obvious credibility."
"Our only problem is that it took so long," Marci Hamilton, the attorney for the family of Daniel Neill, said Sunday. Neill committed suicide in 2009, less than a year after being told his allegation of couldn't be substantiated.
Hamilton, who also represents two others who claim to have been abused by Gallagher, said the archdiocese's failure to act means Gallagher will never face criminal charges.
"Gallagher belongs in prison, but because of the Archdiocese's cover up, the criminal statutes of limitations for these victims expired long ago," she said.
In a statement, Archbishop Charles Chaput said he made the decisions he felt were "right and just" after the allegations against Gaspar and Gallagher were investigated and reviewed by an archdiocese board.
"The counsel provided by these experts, who have devoted their careers to combatting sexual abuse, is key to this work," he said. "I'm grateful for their efforts."
A third priest, Monsignor Richard Powers, was not among the priests suspended following the grand jury investigation. The archdiocese said he was suspended last year after his name surfaced on a list of priests previously accused of sexual abuse. All the other priests on that list had either died, been removed from ministry or were "living a life of prayer and penance" with the exception of Powers, the archdiocese said.
The allegation against Powers involved an incident that happened about 40 years ago outside the archdiocese, church officials said.
Powers, 77, declined to discuss his removal from ministry or the allegations when reached by phone Sunday by The Associated Press. No listed phone number could be found for Gallagher, 78. A phone message for a listing for Gaspar, 43, was not immediately returned.
All three men can appeal their cases to the Vatican.
The grand jury report led to charges against Monsignor William Lynn and three others. Lynn, the longtime secretary of clergy for the archdiocese, is serving three to six years in prison for his role transferring an admitted pedophile priest to the accuser's northeast Philadelphia parish. One of the priests pleaded guilty while the other priest and the teacher were convicted at trial.
Twenty-six priests were placed on leave following the grand jury's report. Ten of those cases have now been found to involve substantiated allegations of abuse. One priest was arrested and another died before a full investigation could be completed.
Seven cases are still pending, the archdiocese said.

Chairman of the Edo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Dan Orbih, on Monday, called for Governor Adams Oshiomhole's removal over alleged perjury.
Obih, at a press biefing in Benin City claimed the governor swore to an affidavit in May 2012, indicating that he was born April 4, 1952.
Committee of Friends of Governor Oshiomhole last week Thursday, organised a lecture to mark the governor's 60th birthday. This, according to Orbih, portrays Oshiomhole as lying on oath.
But Special Adviser (Media) to the governor, Kassim Afegbua, in a reaction labeled the PDP leaders in the state as jobless.
Orbih said, "The governor said that he was born April 4, 1953. Even last year here, he celebrated 59 years and since he was sworn into office, he has consistently maintained that he was born April 4, 1953.
"If you go to the official website of Edo State, you will see it clearly; it is on Wikipedia, but on Monday (April 4), fellow governors were celebrating him on the pages of newspapers. The President sent a congratulatory message to him at 60, and of course, Edo State PDP seeing what was going on, we had to come out to celebrate him; the first time you see opposition party celebrates someone in power.
"We believed that the governor is 60, but as a responsible party, we discovered that the governor, precisely on May 4, 2012, went to the High Court to swear to an affidavit to the effect that he was born on April 4, 1952.
"You can now appreciate the dilemma we are facing. In the history of the world, no man was born in two separate years; this is perjury. It is labour rascality and we have our children watching, and democracy can never be deepened that way, when leaders lie unperturbed."
He added, "The governor throughout the event never stood up to correct this. This is a challenge to us all and we have no choice than to ask the governor to resign immediately."
Afegbua called on the people of the state to ignore PDP's antics and continue in their support for the administration.
Afegbua said, "They are busybodies. The governor came out and told the whole world that he celebrated his 61st birthday. The PDP people are jobless, if they're not they wouldn't call a press briefing over the governor's age. By the time we got to know it was 60 that was written on the programme it was too late to amend.
"There is no dilemma in all these. The governor did not spend a dime on the event; friends put it up and that was why they called it colloquy."

Beyonce, Jay-Z Blasted For Cuba Vacation On Fifth Anniversary (PHOTOS)

Beyonce and Jay-Z are being criticized for spending their fifth anniversary in Cuba.
Mauricio Claver-Carone, the Executive Director of Cuba Democracy Advocates in Washington, D.C., a group dedicated to promoting democracy in the Caribbean country, blasted the hip-hop power couple for vacationing in the communist nation.
"There are women getting beaten on a daily basis, women who are being jailed for no reason ... people are fighting for their freedom," he told TMZ, claiming Beyonce and Jay-Z's failed to educate themselves on Cuba's human rights violations before making the trip. "It's extremely insensitive," he added.
News of the visit spread when Beyonce and Jay-Z were photographed in Havanaearlier this week, dining at local restaurants and touring historical locations. But it remains unclear why they chose to visit the region to celebrate their April 4 wedding anniversary.
The Associated Press notes America's 51-year embargo makes it illegal for U.S. citizens to travel to Cuba solely for tourism. Travelers can visit the country legally by obtaining a "cultural exchange" license, however.
The U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control, which approves travel to the country, would not comment on Beyonce and Jay-Z's individual case.
This is not the first time the "Love On Top" singer has offended in recent weeks.
When Beyonce, who has recently referred to herself as a "modern day feminist,"released her newest single, "Bow Down/I Been On," on March 17, she was criticized for the song's seemingly misogynistic lyrics.

Our Role In Our Mother’s Death – P-Square

This interview with Peter, the twin brother of Paul Okoye who are collectively known in the music scene as P-square, was held in the second floor lobby of Golden Peacock Hotel in Liliongwe, the capital of Malawi few hours before their hugely successful concert that was almost marred by a torrential rainfall destroyed some of their instruments.
The concert was part of African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) nomination party/gala nite that held in Malawi. Deputy Editor, Charles Okogene was among the journalists Peter fielded answers to their questions on sundry issues.
You are always on the road, how many days do you guys have to yourselves?
We have been trying as much as possible to create time for ourselves, but most times, we don't get it. We need more time to rest because performing for two to three hours on stage is not an easy task. However, we took a break in January.
What is the inspiration behind Alingo video?
P-Square for the past five years haven't done any dance video and our fans expected to see something of that nature from us. So, Alingo was just the first song we had even before the Invasion album came out. We didn't take the song seriously until our fans started loving it. And before we knew what was happening, it caught fire and was everywhere. We have no choice than to give our fans a video.
You put in a lot of energy into the video…(cuts in).
Yes. When the song started picking up, we thought it was important to give our fans something they have never gotten from P-Square in the past five years. The last time, we did something similar to this, Roll It was over five years ago. It took us a lot of time and energy to produce the album. Our elder brother, Jude, who is also our manager, shot the video. Interestingly, most people didn't know that the video was shot in Nigeria. We went to an abandoned warehouse situated some 10 minutes away from our Lagos residence to shoot the video. There, we created the scenario and got the video shot.
It was also rumoured sometime ago that you guys bought a private jet. Is it true?
There was nothing like that. I guess because it was included in our rider that whenever we are going for a specific show, the organsiers must provide us with a private jet. We had a deal with a private jet company which always give out their private jet to us on hire whenever we are in need of it. So, it is like, we have private jet at our disposal. I remember, I once tweeted that private jet has been included in our list. That was how people started speculating that P-Square has bought a private jet.
The impression out there is that P-Square is arrogant?
I think P-Square is very intimidating; we are not arrogant. When you saw me today, did I look arrogant? I came to greet everybody. That is a wrong impression people have about us. There is Peter and there is Paul. Peter is stubborn, bad and controversial, but they say Paul is quiet, cool headed and all that. But you see, you can steal from Peter to pay Paul, and if you steal from Peter to pay Paul, you are indeed paying P-Square. I'm a very controversial person and I'm not expecting every news about me to be positive. P-Square is not arrogant, it's just that the people are scared of approaching them, considering the way we operate. When you see P-Square stepping out, we look very intimidating. But the people that are very close to us will testify that we are not arrogant. Beyonce could visit a shopping mall today, and the whole place will be shut down. That does not make her arrogant. It is her management that has made it to be so.
How is life without your mother?
It has been hectic. We haven't decided to do a new album at the moment. But then, anytime we were working on a new album, while she was alive, she was always with us in our studio. We don't know how we are going to do it this time around. She was a minister of God before she passed on. She had her own church which Paul and I built for her. Anytime we want to release a new album, she would pray for the album for almost a week before we release it. Her church is still functioning till date and her prayer partners are still there. Once in while, we do communicate with the leadership of the church and it is our desire to see the church continue to function after her death. Wherever she is today, she will be happy that the church is still functioning because it's a monument for her.
But did you guys really know what happened to your mother?
People must always speculate. It got to a point I said to myself that those people who were accusing us of being responsible for our mum's death must be ignorant of how close we were to her. We didn't want that rumour to distract us. In fact, when people are insinuating such things, the best advice is for you to block your ears and never allow it to distract you. I'm human and I don't except people to say positive things about P-Square all the time. But I am not looking forward to that. P-Square has made its worst mistake in the past, and people didn't notice it. We are not perfect. And we know why people accused us of being responsible for our mother's death. It's because we are successful in what we are doing for a living. Even in my Igbo nation, once somebody starts to progress, his kinsmen will begin to associate his riches with money ritual. We have overgrown such insinuation.
What are those mistakes you made in the past?
Let's leave that in the past.
How did you grow up with Paul?
Our growing up was fantastic. I'm the person who was always on the stubborn side. Then, I would go out there and cause some stir and they would put the blame on Paul because we are twins. We were always wearing the same clothes. I and Paul grew up doing things together. It has remained like that till date. That's the way our mother trained us. What Paul does not like today, I will not like either. Maybe, this is what has been holding us together.
Have you had any cause to date the same woman?
Every woman wants to hang out with Peter. This is because everybody knows that Peter is more outgoing than Paul. But I doubt if woman can cause problem between Paul and myself. Money would have been the devil that will cause problem between us than woman. Any woman that wants to come between us is wasting her time.
Every successful man wants to continue to invest in other areas of life. Are you thinking in that direction?
P-Square is not only involved in music alone. We are into real estate business. That we have been doing for a long time now. We do a lot of businesses. A business man who is keeping his money in the bank, what is he keeping it without investing it. We also do banking business, but real estate pays us more.
Recently it was rumoured that you are into oil and gas business?
Yes, it's about to kick off. My music is doing very well in the market, and investing in other areas will help to boost my pocket, which is not a bad idea.

This interview with Peter, the twin brother of Paul Okoye who are collectively known in the music scene as P-square, was held in the second floor lobby of Golden Peacock Hotel in Liliongwe, the capital of Malawi few hours before their hugely successful concert that was almost marred by a torrential rainfall destroyed some of their instruments.
The concert was part of African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) nomination party/gala nite that held in Malawi. Deputy Editor, Charles Okogene was among the journalists Peter fielded answers to their questions on sundry issues.
You are always on the road, how many days do you guys have to yourselves?
We have been trying as much as possible to create time for ourselves, but most times, we don't get it. We need more time to rest because performing for two to three hours on stage is not an easy task. However, we took a break in January.
What is the inspiration behind Alingo video?
P-Square for the past five years haven't done any dance video and our fans expected to see something of that nature from us. So, Alingo was just the first song we had even before the Invasion album came out. We didn't take the song seriously until our fans started loving it. And before we knew what was happening, it caught fire and was everywhere. We have no choice than to give our fans a video.
You put in a lot of energy into the video…(cuts in).
Yes. When the song started picking up, we thought it was important to give our fans something they have never gotten from P-Square in the past five years. The last time, we did something similar to this, Roll It was over five years ago. It took us a lot of time and energy to produce the album. Our elder brother, Jude, who is also our manager, shot the video. Interestingly, most people didn't know that the video was shot in Nigeria. We went to an abandoned warehouse situated some 10 minutes away from our Lagos residence to shoot the video. There, we created the scenario and got the video shot.
It was also rumoured sometime ago that you guys bought a private jet. Is it true?
There was nothing like that. I guess because it was included in our rider that whenever we are going for a specific show, the organsiers must provide us with a private jet. We had a deal with a private jet company which always give out their private jet to us on hire whenever we are in need of it. So, it is like, we have private jet at our disposal. I remember, I once tweeted that private jet has been included in our list. That was how people started speculating that P-Square has bought a private jet.
The impression out there is that P-Square is arrogant?
I think P-Square is very intimidating; we are not arrogant. When you saw me today, did I look arrogant? I came to greet everybody. That is a wrong impression people have about us. There is Peter and there is Paul. Peter is stubborn, bad and controversial, but they say Paul is quiet, cool headed and all that. But you see, you can steal from Peter to pay Paul, and if you steal from Peter to pay Paul, you are indeed paying P-Square. I'm a very controversial person and I'm not expecting every news about me to be positive. P-Square is not arrogant, it's just that the people are scared of approaching them, considering the way we operate. When you see P-Square stepping out, we look very intimidating. But the people that are very close to us will testify that we are not arrogant. Beyonce could visit a shopping mall today, and the whole place will be shut down. That does not make her arrogant. It is her management that has made it to be so.
How is life without your mother?
It has been hectic. We haven't decided to do a new album at the moment. But then, anytime we were working on a new album, while she was alive, she was always with us in our studio. We don't know how we are going to do it this time around. She was a minister of God before she passed on. She had her own church which Paul and I built for her. Anytime we want to release a new album, she would pray for the album for almost a week before we release it. Her church is still functioning till date and her prayer partners are still there. Once in while, we do communicate with the leadership of the church and it is our desire to see the church continue to function after her death. Wherever she is today, she will be happy that the church is still functioning because it's a monument for her.
But did you guys really know what happened to your mother?
People must always speculate. It got to a point I said to myself that those people who were accusing us of being responsible for our mum's death must be ignorant of how close we were to her. We didn't want that rumour to distract us. In fact, when people are insinuating such things, the best advice is for you to block your ears and never allow it to distract you. I'm human and I don't except people to say positive things about P-Square all the time. But I am not looking forward to that. P-Square has made its worst mistake in the past, and people didn't notice it. We are not perfect. And we know why people accused us of being responsible for our mother's death. It's because we are successful in what we are doing for a living. Even in my Igbo nation, once somebody starts to progress, his kinsmen will begin to associate his riches with money ritual. We have overgrown such insinuation.
What are those mistakes you made in the past?
Let's leave that in the past.
How did you grow up with Paul?
Our growing up was fantastic. I'm the person who was always on the stubborn side. Then, I would go out there and cause some stir and they would put the blame on Paul because we are twins. We were always wearing the same clothes. I and Paul grew up doing things together. It has remained like that till date. That's the way our mother trained us. What Paul does not like today, I will not like either. Maybe, this is what has been holding us together.
Have you had any cause to date the same woman?
Every woman wants to hang out with Peter. This is because everybody knows that Peter is more outgoing than Paul. But I doubt if woman can cause problem between Paul and myself. Money would have been the devil that will cause problem between us than woman. Any woman that wants to come between us is wasting her time.
Every successful man wants to continue to invest in other areas of life. Are you thinking in that direction?
P-Square is not only involved in music alone. We are into real estate business. That we have been doing for a long time now. We do a lot of businesses. A business man who is keeping his money in the bank, what is he keeping it without investing it. We also do banking business, but real estate pays us more.
Recently it was rumoured that you are into oil and gas business?
Yes, it's about to kick off. My music is doing very well in the market, and investing in other areas will help to boost my pocket, which is not a bad idea.
Man Dies After Acid Bath At Girlfriend’s House

The Enugu State police command says it has commenced a fullscale investigation into the death of one Ugwu Peter Chima, who died as a result of acid bath he received in his lover's house.
In a statement made available to DailyPost on Sunday, the police spokesman in the state, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu disclosed that the deceased had gone to see his lover at Old Army Barracks Nsukka in Enugu state when the incident happened.
"He was attacked with accid by a group of six armed men yet to be identified thereby leaving him with serious injuries on his body.
"He was, however, rushed to the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Ituku Ozalla Enugu for medical attention, where he was subsequently confirmed dead", Amaraizu stated.

MEND Makes Good Threat, Kills 13 Policemen in Bayelsa

The proscribed Niger Delta militant group, Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) appeared to have made good its threat to resume hostilities last Friday as 13 policemen were shot dead at close range along the creek of Azuzuama in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of the state.
The policemen killed were said to be on official deployment to the area to keep the peace at the burial of the mother of an ex-militant leader when they were attacked by the gunmen as they alighted from the boat which brought them.
Though the police authorities are keeping sealed lip on the issue, other security agencies contacted by HI5 show confirmed the killing even as they refused to make comments officially.
The incident it was learnt occured at about 5pm when the policemen were heading to Azuzuama in Southern Ijaw Council Area to provide security at the burial ceremony of the late mother of ex-militant leader, Kile Selky Torughedi aka Young Shall Grow.
Although the reasons behind the dastardly act is still unknown, Young Shall Grow, it was learnt, was having problem with his boys who accused him of abandoning them.
He was said to have relocated to Abuja after embracing the Federal Government amnesty leaving behind his former soldiers.
He was also said to have refused to be part of the move by MEND to resume militant activities in the creeks over the recent jailing of MEND leader, Henry Okah, in South Africa.
However, this could not be confirmed at press time.
The ex-militant leader was recently appointed as a Senior Special Adviser (SSA) to the Bayelsa governor on Marine Waterways Security and reportedly sought the deployment of policemen to prevent would-be trouble makers from the wake and burial activities of his mother.
Following the attack, several contingents of policemen were dispatch to the area by the State Police Command to fish out the killers, assess the situation and possibly recover the remains of the slain personnel.
The state police public relations officer, Alex Akhigbe, DSP could not be reached as he was not picking his calls but the state commissioner of police, Mr. Kins Omire, when contacted, said he was in a meeting and his line went off.

Thirty people, including 20 Nigerians and a Hudson County jail nurse, have been arrested in a multimillion, multi-state identity theft and credit card fraud ring by United States authorities.
According to a US medium, The Jersey Journal, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office first got involved in the investigation in the early fall of 2012, when they received numerous complaints from victims as far away as California claiming that credit cards in their name made fraudulent retail purchases in Hudson County, officials said today.
Using store video and physical surveillance, the detectives were able to identify several suspects, authorities state. Detectives then linked those suspects to hundreds of other accounts and millions of dollars in phony transactions.
The leaders of the group, authorities say, purchased the identities of unsuspecting victims from online brokers, who got the information from computer hackers across the United States.
In a process known as “punching,” electronic account information from the cards’ magnetic strips would be transferred onto counterfeit cards, which were provided to “strikers” who conducted the purchases at retailers all over the Eastern Seaboard, authorities say.
Teams of strikers purchased retail gift cards that were then used to purchase various electronic items, authorities say. Those items were then sold in bulk to fences in New York and New Jersey, authorities say. The fence would then sell the items to other people for cash payments.
The investigation has identified nearly 1,000 victims across the country and millions of dollars in phony transactions, authorities say.
Authorities say the suspects spent the proceeds on luxury cars, high-end jewelry and other lavish expenses. Some of the money was additionally sent to accounts in Nigeria, authorities say.
Acting Hudson County Prosecutor Guy Gregory commended a long list of agencies that were involved in the take down, saying, “The operation could not have succeeded without their assistance.”
Defendants charged with money laundering, theft by deception, wrongful impersonation and conspiracy include: Bolaji Ola, 30, of Sayreville; Olamide Otti, 27, of Queens; Akintunde Adeyemi, 28, of East Orange; David Brown, 27, of Parlin; Adegbola Adedeji, 31, of Parlin; Oluwaseun Jato, 23, of Hillside; Oluwasola Diji, 31, of Westbury, NY; Oladapo Araromi, 26, of Elizabeth; and Bertrand Ahaneku, 25, of South Orange.

NANS condemns planned scrapping of NECO, UTME

National Association of Nigerian Students has condemned the planned scrapping of the National Examination Council and the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination by the Federal Government.
The students' body, in a statement signed by its President, Prince Miaphen, and made available to Saturday PUNCH in Jos, said such actions were inimical to the development of education in the country.
The statement read, "The attention of the national leadership of NANS has been drawn to a recent pronouncement by the government to cancel JAMB and NECO.
"We condemn in totality any attempt to scrap NECO, as it is the only indigenous examination body for ordinary level pupils in the country.
"NECO should rather be reformed and empowered to carry out its obligation as the only indigenous examination body in the country rather than being scrapped.
"It should be noted that other countries have up to five different examination bodies; it is not too much for Nigeria to have at least two of such bodies for O' level."
The students accused the West African Examination Council of not representing the interest of Nigerian students enough at that level because its curriculum does not reflect the Nigerian system and this usually leads to mass failure of Nigerian students in WAEC-conducted examinations.
They also want to know what the Federal Government will do with the staff of both organisations.
NANS also wants UTME to be restructured and strengthened to be the sole regulatory body for entrance examinations into higher institutions in the country.
"The post-UME examination should be scrapped because it is more or less a duplication of responsibility.
"Many Nigerian youths have been facing a lot of setbacks because after passing UTME, they fail post-UME after spending so much money," the students said.

Nollywood stars turn to pornographic roles

Nollywood stars appear to be seeking out more daring roles in pornography, an investigation by Saturday Beats has revealed.
Perhaps, unfulfilled about the soft porn displayed in Nigerian home movies, which has attracted widespread condemnation, a number of Nollywood stars are venturing into hard core pornographic roles.
And they are being helped by smart producers and marketers, who use the internet to ensure such movies reach as wide an audience as possible.
The main platform is YouTube, where there is a growing number of pornographic movies featuring Nollywood actors and actresses. Some of the films run full-length while cuts have been taken from some of them and pasted on YouTube as trailers.
When someone clicks on the short flicks, a notice immediately pops up that the full version, with all the parts, is available.
Another interesting thing is that these films enjoy adverts from reputable Nigerian banks and companies. A one-minute video advert usually precedes such pornographic movies.
Some even have as much as five adverts.
Nollywood English movies like Room 027, Bold 5 Babes, Bedroom Assassin and Taboo! Pastor fornicates in the office are among such pornographic films.
It is also mind-boggling how the industry has sunk in depravity, by even churning out gay movies.
Two examples are Pregnant Hawkers and Sinful Act 1&2 as well as a Yoruba movie, Lesbian.
They all feature known and upcoming Nollywood figures, who engage in pornographic roles with little care in the world.
There are also short flicks with top Nigerian and foreign actors and actresses in steamy scenes.
It all seemed like a joke when sometime last year American-based Nigerian actress, Judith Opara Mazagwu, popularly known as AfroCandy, called for actors and actresses who could fit into nude roles.
On April 19, 2012, AfroCandy posted a message on her Facebook wall, where she wrote, "It takes a lot of guts to get naked in front of the camera. In a couple of my concluded up-coming movies, there's a lot of nudity in them.
"I also have scripts lined up for production and there will also be nudity in most of them. So if you are an aspiring actor/actress, you have the passion and you will like to get naked, send in your info/contacts for casting and I look forward to meeting and working with you."
This call got mixed reactions from the public but it did not stop the producers of movies like Room 027 and Bold 5 Babes.
Fans of controversial actress, Tonto Dikeh, showed their disdain when they saw her in two different soft pornography movies. But the actress defended herself in an online interview, where she said, "Only the ignorant and pretentious souls would criticise this lovely movie. It is a film, it's a job that has to be done. I accepted the script because when I see a good film in the making, I appreciate it.
"What everyone has seen is just a trailer and we all know trailers are supposed to be fun-filled so as to attract viewers. So, it's allowed to be called a soft porn at this stage. That movie is the deepest story line I've ever read. It's a movie most people can identify with: I love and appreciate all the hype around this movie."

Nollywood stars appear to be seeking out more daring roles in pornography, an investigation by Saturday Beats has revealed.
Perhaps, unfulfilled about the soft porn displayed in Nigerian home movies, which has attracted widespread condemnation, a number of Nollywood stars are venturing into hard core pornographic roles.
And they are being helped by smart producers and marketers, who use the internet to ensure such movies reach as wide an audience as possible.
The main platform is YouTube, where there is a growing number of pornographic movies featuring Nollywood actors and actresses. Some of the films run full-length while cuts have been taken from some of them and pasted on YouTube as trailers.
When someone clicks on the short flicks, a notice immediately pops up that the full version, with all the parts, is available.
Another interesting thing is that these films enjoy adverts from reputable Nigerian banks and companies. A one-minute video advert usually precedes such pornographic movies.
Some even have as much as five adverts.
Nollywood English movies like Room 027, Bold 5 Babes, Bedroom Assassin and Taboo! Pastor fornicates in the office are among such pornographic films.
It is also mind-boggling how the industry has sunk in depravity, by even churning out gay movies.
Two examples are Pregnant Hawkers and Sinful Act 1&2 as well as a Yoruba movie, Lesbian.
They all feature known and upcoming Nollywood figures, who engage in pornographic roles with little care in the world.
There are also short flicks with top Nigerian and foreign actors and actresses in steamy scenes.
It all seemed like a joke when sometime last year American-based Nigerian actress, Judith Opara Mazagwu, popularly known as AfroCandy, called for actors and actresses who could fit into nude roles.
On April 19, 2012, AfroCandy posted a message on her Facebook wall, where she wrote, "It takes a lot of guts to get naked in front of the camera. In a couple of my concluded up-coming movies, there's a lot of nudity in them.
"I also have scripts lined up for production and there will also be nudity in most of them. So if you are an aspiring actor/actress, you have the passion and you will like to get naked, send in your info/contacts for casting and I look forward to meeting and working with you."
This call got mixed reactions from the public but it did not stop the producers of movies like Room 027 and Bold 5 Babes.
Fans of controversial actress, Tonto Dikeh, showed their disdain when they saw her in two different soft pornography movies. But the actress defended herself in an online interview, where she said, "Only the ignorant and pretentious souls would criticise this lovely movie. It is a film, it's a job that has to be done. I accepted the script because when I see a good film in the making, I appreciate it.
"What everyone has seen is just a trailer and we all know trailers are supposed to be fun-filled so as to attract viewers. So, it's allowed to be called a soft porn at this stage. That movie is the deepest story line I've ever read. It's a movie most people can identify with: I love and appreciate all the hype around this movie."

Venus and Serena Williams both won twice on Friday to set-up a family affair in the semi-final of the aptly-named Family Circle Cup in Charleston.
They will now go head-to-head for the first time in over three years - as the last meeting of the American superstar sisters was in the final of the season-ending WTA Championships in 2009 when Serena beat Venus.
Serena, the younger sister who leads their career series 13-10, saw off American qualifier Mallory Burdette 6-4 6-2 before knocking out Czech sixth seed Lucie Safarova 6-4 6-1 to make the all-Williams clash happen.
Venus had already clinched her place in the final four, at the expense of two fellow Americans, first knocking out Varvara Lepchenko 6-2 4-6 6-2 and then earning a 6-4 6-4 victory over Madison Keys in the quarter-finals.
Serena is defending her title this week and, as world number one, heads into the semi-final against 24th-ranked Venus as favourite.
"It was really motivating to see Venus win today. I figured if she can win two matches, I have no excuse not to win my two matches," Serena Williams said, according to the WTA website.
Now 31-year-old Serena is relishing the battle against her 32-year-old sister.
"Venus is the toughest opponent I've ever played. I think she's beaten me the most out of any player. I know her game and she knows my game," Serena said. "I think it'll be a great match tomorrow."

oMuhammed Lawal: Diagnosed to have hole in his heart. Needs N2.8 million for surgical operation
If nothing is done urgently, two-year old Muhammed Lawal may die in two weeks' time as he has been diagnosed with a hole in the heart. He needs N2.8 million for an urgent surgical operation to correct the defect.
Doctors at the Bisket Medical Centre, Osogbo, Osun State, southwest Nigeria, said the boy has two weeks to live unless something urgent is done to save him.
The parents of the boy can't get the money for the surgical operation abroad. Their effort has only yielded N5,000.
Doctors, who carried out series of diagnosis on the little boy said he might not survive unless his parents raised N2.8 million needed for the heart surgery in India.
Father of the boy, Lawal Musa who was a former cadet member of the Osun Youth Empowerment Scheme, OYES, Osun State, southwest Nigeria, has appealed to well meaning Nigerians to help save his son's life.
"We have tried and we are still making efforts. We could only raise N5,000. We are calling on well meaning Nigerians to help us save him through their financial assistance. We pray they will not have any cause to bury their child," he said.
He added that he had made several appeals to some well meaning Nigerians in Osun State to come to his aid but it turned out futile as the condition of his little son worsens daily.
Lawal said he earns N10, 000 at private Nursery and Primary School in Oshogbo where he teaches Primary 4 to JSS II, saying that he had written letters to the state Governor Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and Osun State House of Assembly but that he was yet to get favourable response.
Medical Director, Bisket Medial Centre, a Cardiac Consultation Centre based in Oshogbo, Dr A. D. Adenle, one the experts that diagnosed Lawal, said: "there is situs solitus, antrio-ventricular and ventrioculo-arterial concordance. The colour-flow showed the VSD. There is also mosaic colour jet across the infundibulum and pulmonary valve."

On Tuesday, Lagos State Police Command, paraded seven suspects of a robbery gang that attacked the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Lagos, last month, killed two policemen and injured several others.
Among the suspects, was the General Overseer of The way of Joy church located in Egbe, a Lagos suburb. The clergy , identified as Pastor Ibikunle Olarewaju John, confessed to Crime Guard during the parade, that he administered an oath of secrecy on the gang members, on the day they attacked the Muritala Mohammed Airport.

Members of the gang discovered to have come all the way from Kwara, Osun, Ibadan and Ogun states, during interrogation, confessed to have attacked same airport last year,where they carted away N600 Million. They also stormed the airport on again on March 13, 2013 at about 7.30 pm.
But this time around, they were reportedly engaged in a gun battle by two policemen attached to Apapa division said to be on official assignment at the airport. Unfortunately for the policemen, they were gunned down in the process. But before they breathed their last, they managed to kill a member of the gang.
The robbers said to have succeeded in carting away over N10 Million from a Bureau-De -change operators, went straight to their hideout inside a bush in Ijebu-Ode, where they shared their loot.
Dedicates cars with members from loot
In this interview with Pastor Ibikunle, he disclosed that his share of the loot was N500,000. But investigation carried out by Crime Guard, showed that he might have got more than that. A suspected member of the gang confirmed Crime Guard's claim. A further attestation to this claim, was the discovery that Pastor Ibikunle bought two cars apparently from his share of the loot, two weekes later.
During Crime Guard's visit to The Way of Joy Church, located on Alliu Street, Egbe, Thursday, it was discovered that the church was built with planks. And locating the church was a difficult task, as there was no sign board. It took Crime Guard about an hour search to locate it .
On closer look , it was discovered that the church had been sealed. Although, no one agreed to talk about Pastor Ibikunle and the church when approached, apparently for fear of being arrested .
Finally, a man who pleaded anonymity opened up and asked :"Are you a member of the church"? The reporters shook their heads.
He further said, " if you know what is good for you, better leave there before you will get yourself into trouble. The white garment church was sealed last week after the arrest of the Pastor.. Some policemen came last week and arrested him and before we knew it, we started hearing he was a member of a robbery gang. Even , the whole newspapers in Nigeria carried the news two days ago"
Before his arrest, Pastor Ibikunle was said to have dedicated two vehicles ,during which he hosted members of his church and friends to a buffet.
"Although he is an easy- going fellow who by every dint of appearance never exhibited any character of a robber. We usually saw people coming in and out of the church on daily. And on Sundays, there were usually church services.
Towards the end of the month, he treated his members and friends who came in posh cars to a party, in celebration of his newly purchased cars. It was not long that we heard he bought them with the proceeds from the robbery operation at the airport. It was after his arrest that I believed the popular saying that facial appearance is indeed deceptive", another resident who earlier declined to speak on the issue said.

From Crime Guard's findings, it was discovered also that when operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad stormed the clergy's one-room apartment located on the same building with the church, to effect his arrest, his wife was not at home.

On arrival, she was said to have visited Ikotun, Ejigbo and Idimu police stations in search for her husband. She was said to have also raised alarm that he could have been abducted by men in police uniform.
But when news of her husband's alleged indulgence in criminal activities reached her, she was said to have been spelled bound.
A family friend to the Ibikunles told Crime Guard that, " she came crying to us that some men in plain clothes came to pick her husband. But when she discovered the truth at SARSs where we eventually found him, she broke down. At first she did not believe the claim, as she thought it could have been cooked up. But when her husband confessed to her, she said that was the height she could take from him.
"More painful according to her, is the fact that she said she asked her husband where he got the money with which he bought the cars , only for him to tell her it was given to him by someone who got healed of a terminal disease after a deliverance section with him."
As at the time Crime Guard visited, Mrs Ibikunle was nowhere around the church's premises. But a neigbour later revealed that she was seen packing her belongings out of the house, with her children. The resident could however, not say her whereabouts. Since the arrest, no church member had reportedly come to worship there.

Speaking with Crime Guard, Pastor Ibikunle revealed that he spent 14 hours in the gang's hideout, inside a bush in Ijebu-Ode area of Ogun State, on the day of the robbery attack at the international airport.
Hear him, " Before that day, one of them, Asiwaju, said I should come and administer an oat of secrecy on members of his gang. I invited them to come to my church but they said they would not want to arouse suspicion. At the end, I went to Ijebu-Ode. I waited at a designated point before a member of the gang came and took me to their hideout inside the bush.
I administered the oath on them about 1pm. You will not understand if I start explaining because it is a spiritual thing. I said some incantation into a horn and added some other things.
I waited there until they came back around 11.30pm.,before leaving next day, with N500,000. I was instructed not to tell any one about what transpired.I swore,that is all my involvement. I never followed them to rob", he said.
Asked if he informed his wife about his mission, he replied, " No, I did not. I only told her when leaving that I was going to pray over night for a 'big man' who would not like to come to our area. And when I came back, I told her the money was given to me by the 'big man'".
I regret my involvement
In an emotional laden voice, Pastor Ibikunle looked at Crime Guard , battling hard not to betray his emotion, " Am I going to die? He asked with a tear filled eyes. Ah! he exclaimed. I would have remained in my cubicle as a poor man than heeding the advice of the gang. Now, I am left without nothing! My condition is even worse.
"I'm appealing to every member of my church to forgive me for embarrassing them. This is the devil's handiwork. I can not even face members of my family now…", the 37 year-old father of two paused and bent his head, refusing to speak any further.

University Of Ibadan Student Bags 8-Year Jail Term For Fraud.
A first year student of the University of Ibadan has been sentenced to 8 years imprisonment for charges of advance fee fraud by a Federal High Court sitting in Enugu.
Justice L. Mohamed Shaiubu sentenced Daramola Olawale on a four count charge.
Daramola had pleaded not guilty in May 2012 during his first arraignment, but later changed his plea to guilty after a plea bargain was struck.
Each of the count carried 2 years imprisonment. The sentences will run concurrently from the first day he was arraigned.
The four count charge for advance fee fraud were brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in a Charge No: FHC/ENCR/41/10.
The count charge reads in part: "that you Daramola Olawale on or about the 12th day of May, 2012 at Enugu within the jurisdiction of the FHC of Nigeria with intent to defraud, had in your possession (e-mail) pmaxwelln43@yahoo.com a scam document titled Re: "These are the pictures and the mileage" which was addressed to Rev. Jeffrey Ramsey and thereby committed an offence contrary to section 6 of the advance fee fraud and other fraud related offences Acts 2006 and punishable under section 1(3) of the same act".
"That you Daramola Olawale on or about the 12th day of May, 2012 at Enugu within the jurisdiction of the FHC of Nigeria with intent to defraud, attempted to obtain the sum of N200,000 from one Rev. Jeffrey Ramsey when you purportedly represented yourself as a custom agent and that you have cars for sale, which pretence you knew to be false and thereby committed an offence contrary to section 1(1), (b) of the advance fee fraud and other fraud related offences Acts 2006 and punishable under section 1(3) of the same act".
In its judgement, the court held that: "the accused having changed his plea from not guilty to guilty and based on the exhibit tendered by prosecution plea of leniency by A. Salau accused counsel, it is hereby ordered as follows; the convict is hereby sentenced to two years imprisonment on each of the four counts.
"The sentence to run concurrently with effect from the 12th May, 2012 when accused was first arrested and detained.
"The recovered monetary exhibit to be returned to the nominal complaint issued at Enugu under the seal of the court and the hand of the presiding judge". Responding, EFCC prosecuting counsels; K. C Chukwu and M.A Eneh thanked the court for the judgement.
A first year student of the University of Ibadan has been sentenced to 8 years imprisonment for charges of advance fee fraud by a Federal High Court sitting in Enugu.
Justice L. Mohamed Shaiubu sentenced Daramola Olawale on a four count charge.
Daramola had pleaded not guilty in May 2012 during his first arraignment, but later changed his plea to guilty after a plea bargain was struck.
Each of the count carried 2 years imprisonment. The sentences will run concurrently from the first day he was arraigned.
The four count charge for advance fee fraud were brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in a Charge No: FHC/ENCR/41/10.
The count charge reads in part: "that you Daramola Olawale on or about the 12th day of May, 2012 at Enugu within the jurisdiction of the FHC of Nigeria with intent to defraud, had in your possession (e-mail) pmaxwelln43@yahoo.com a scam document titled Re: "These are the pictures and the mileage" which was addressed to Rev. Jeffrey Ramsey and thereby committed an offence contrary to section 6 of the advance fee fraud and other fraud related offences Acts 2006 and punishable under section 1(3) of the same act".
"That you Daramola Olawale on or about the 12th day of May, 2012 at Enugu within the jurisdiction of the FHC of Nigeria with intent to defraud, attempted to obtain the sum of N200,000 from one Rev. Jeffrey Ramsey when you purportedly represented yourself as a custom agent and that you have cars for sale, which pretence you knew to be false and thereby committed an offence contrary to section 1(1), (b) of the advance fee fraud and other fraud related offences Acts 2006 and punishable under section 1(3) of the same act".
In its judgement, the court held that: "the accused having changed his plea from not guilty to guilty and based on the exhibit tendered by prosecution plea of leniency by A. Salau accused counsel, it is hereby ordered as follows; the convict is hereby sentenced to two years imprisonment on each of the four counts.
"The sentence to run concurrently with effect from the 12th May, 2012 when accused was first arrested and detained.
"The recovered monetary exhibit to be returned to the nominal complaint issued at Enugu under the seal of the court and the hand of the presiding judge". Responding, EFCC prosecuting counsels; K. C Chukwu and M.A Eneh thanked the court for the judgement.

Femen activists have declared 4 April "topless jihad day" as a gesture of support for a Tunisian woman who was threatened with death by stoning for baring her breasts online.
Amina Tyler ignited a storm when she posted images of herself with the words "Fuck your morals" written across her chest to the Femen-Tunisia Facebook page.
Another image showing her smoking a cigarette with: "My body belongs to me, and is not the source of anyone's honour", written in Arabic script across her bare chest, was also posted.

As a preacher called for her death over fears "her act could bring about an epidemic", Femen has responded with fury, calling for a "topless jihad day".
In a statement posted on Facebook, the group calls for solidarity against the "lethal hatred of Islamists - inhuman beasts for whom killing a woman is more natural than recognising her right to do as she pleases with her own body."
Promising the event will mark the beginning of a new Arab Spring, the message urges: "Come to the embassy of the Republic of Tunisia and protest topless, with "My Body Against Islamism!" written on your body."
A further image from the Femen Facebook page featuring Amina Tyler and supporters It adds: "Long live the topless jihad against infidels! Our tits are deadlier than your stones!"
Meanwhile the whereabouts of the 19-year-old are unclear. Some say she is in a psychiatric hospital. Some have expressed fears for her life. Attorney Bochra Bel Haj Hmida insists she has spoken to Amina and that she is home with her family and well.
Yet last month Femen leader Inna Shevchenko said that since abruptly losing contact with the young activist, she continues to fear for Amina's safety.
She said: "We still didn't hear the voice of Amina and didn't see her face. Until the moment we hear word of Amina about her safety we are searching for her and continuing our international bare breasts support."

In what is believed to be her final interview before her disappearance, Amina told Federica Tourn she believes she will be beaten or raped if the Tunisian police find her.
But she insists she is not afraid: "No, nothing they could do would be worse than what already happens here to women, the way women are forced to live every day."
"Ever since we are small they tell us to be calm, to behave well, to dress a certain way, everything to find a husband. We must also study to be able to marry, because young guys today want a woman who works."
Other groups and individuals have also declared April 4 an international day of action.
More than 106,000 activists have signed a petition calling for those who have threatened Amina's life to be prosecuted. An open letter calling for an International Day to Defend Amina has been signed by many feminist and atheist activists.
The letter says: "On the day and beyond, groups and individuals can join in by highlighting her case, posting topless photos of themselves and their activism on social media sites, signing a petition, Tweeting #Amina, writing letters in her defence, and more.
On 4 April, we will remind the Islamists and the world that the real epidemic and disaster that must be challenged is misogyny - Islamic or otherwise."
Femen said in a statement they were furious about the "barbarian threats of the Islamists about the necessity of reprisals against the Tunisian activist Amina.
"We are afraid for her life and we call on women to fight for their freedom against religious atrocities.
Femen was founded in 2008 in Ukraine. It claims to be active in 17 countries and to have more than 150,000 supporters.

Nigerian Men Caught With Box Of Fake Dollars

The police at Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, Ikeja, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, have arrested three suspected fraudsters who dupe unsuspecting members of the public using fake dollars and a fake Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, certificate.
The suspects, Olasende Akinsiku, 40, Abiodun Akiniyi, 35, and Tajudeen Lasisi, 40, were arrested following a complaint by a retired Major General to Abba Kyari, the officer in charge of SARS, that he was swindled by the arrested suspects.
Akinsiku, who hails from Ondo state, said that they tell their victims that they stole the dollars from their place of work and wanted to convert it into naira at a cheap rate so that the victims will not suspect that the dollar notes were fake.
The graphic artist explained further that he was introduced into the crime by his friend, Abiodun alias Tokunbo Babatunde, the owner of the machine they use to print the fake dollars.
On how they were arrested, Akinsiku said it was when he went to meet the General at Women Development Centre, Agege, to collect another N40,000 with Abiodun that they were arrested by officers from SARS.
The Ewe, Oyo state-born Akiniyi in his confession said Ajibola Ajimson whom he referred to as his mentor introduced him to the General in 2010 and he met the General in Abuja at that time where the General concluded arrangement to come back to Lagos to transport the consignment with bullion van to Abuja.
In order to make the dollars which were neatly packed in a small steel box look real, the group forged a CBN certificate which has the inscription "Vol: $2.5 million", "domination" - mixed, Grade A.
One, and "consignee" the name of the retired General. Abiodun also forged a CBN identity card bearing the name Tunde Bakare (Mr.) with No.011.
While confirming the story, the Lagos state Police image maker, Ngozi Braide, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, said the suspect, will be arraigned as soon as investigation is concluded and warns youths to shun criminal acts.
The Lagos state police boss, Mr. Umar Manko, also promised criminals in the state hell if they did not stop their criminal acts.

According to sources, Wizkid did not buy a Rolls Royce.
The car belongs to Wizkid and Tiwa Savage's Pepsi agent, Mr Paul O. The car was used to covey them to UNILAG yesterday for the first leg of their Pepsi tour.

According to our snitch, the pub reportedly has a high level snitch who is saying that the pair has agreed to split - but are not going to announce anything until after this season of Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, and after the Kanye's album release this summer.
The word is that the couple are scared of all the bad press that they'd receive if they split so soon. As for the "baby" . . . we'll see what happens.
Kanye is on a self imposed exile in Paris so while Kim is pregnant, they live in different continents. Also, on Easter Monday Kim Kardashian took an 11 hour flight to visit Kanye in Paris.
They were photographed on several outings with sour faces each time. Two days later, she was back in the US.
